OUR VINEYARDS
Our cellars
are uniquely situated between the Cape's winter and summer rainfall regions.
Here, semi-arid Karoo conditions combined with a moderate climate, the
prevailing winds, cool night temperatures and rich soils create an ideal,
natural environment for the cultivation of low yields of high quality,
flavourful wine grapes. The dry and windy conditions in our region reduce
the need to apply chemicals in the vineyards, thus facilitating biological
cultivation.
We also source
and crush grapes from Stellenbosch, Paarl, Malmesbury, Franschoek, Vredendal,
Worcester, Robertson and Wellington. |
