Due to growing local and international demand, our annual production is increasing by leaps and bounds. Our well-defined production values however, ensure that our motto of ’Quality is Everything’ remains firmly entrenched.

Quality and variety begin in the vineyard

Solid relationships with top winegrowers all over the Cape Winelands enable us to source the best from the best. Only the finest fruit, grown under the watchful eye of our viticulturist, Pierre Snyman, are selected for our wines. At present we have access to 16 different cultivars while the on-going recruitment of winegrowers who fit our quality profile will give us access to and ever-expanding range of varieties.

Terroir-expressive, tailor-made wines

In the state-of-the-art Overhex Winery, as well as in our associate satellite wineries, the latest in winemaking equipment combines with sophisticated winemaking techniques to capture the essence of each varietal and express the uniqueness of each terroir. What really sets our wines apart, however, is the close cooperation between our talented winemakers and our knowledgeable marketing team. This is manifested in an innovative, flexible wine portfolio with each wine tailor-made for a specific target market.

International standards of bottling

To facilitate stringent quality control - from vineyard to bottle – we have opted for one central bottling plant. Among the many advantages offered by the well-equipped Breederivervalley Botteleringskoöperasie are the facts that it is ISO 9001 as well as BRC certified, offers four modern bottling lines (including Bag-in-Box) and boasts an on-site SANAS accredited laboratory. Our bottling plant also specialises in export containerisation.
